The Vereniging Ondernemers Technisch Bodemonderzoek (Association of Technical Soil Survey Companies), or VOTB, was set up in April 1977 as a sector association for companies working in geotechnics, whereby geotechnic soil surveys play a central role.
The VOTB promotes the importance of good technical soil surveys and is committed to the common interests of its members. A wealth of knowledge and experience is shared within the association, which is of great value for the IJB Group department involved in geotechnic surveys. This has resulted in a long-term relationship, as the case with the other sector associations Betonhuis and NVAF.
