Betonhuis brings together 200 affiliated concrete (mortar) factories, which combined form a branch in which over 6,000 people work. These companies can be subdivided into seven sectors, including Concrete Products, Concrete Mortar (concrete plants) and Constructive Prefab. The IJB Group is affiliated with the Constructive Prefab sector.
Betonhuis is involved in eight core activities that are strongly associated with its spearheads. Four of these concern activities on behalf of the members, from Betonhuis, to the market and the community. The other four core activities are focused on services for the members. The eight core activities of Betonhuis all focus on one or more of the three spearheads: 1. A powerful lobby / 2. The image of concrete / 3. Provision of relevant information.
For decades now, the IJB Group has been a member of Betonhuis (and its predecessor BFBN) and continues to be active in various areas within this sector association by participating in a number of committees. We have also taken part in specific projects, including in the areas of safety.
