Through our Mission & Vision, based on “Sustainable Capacity”, the IJB Group contributes to enough good quality housing with a foundation that is as stable, sustainable and circular as possible. In order to achieve this, we develop, in-house, products that are increasingly sustainable. With a growing use of secondary raw materials and taking into account our goals in relation to a societal costs index (MKI) reduction and a further reduction of CO2 emissions. A considerable but worthwhile challenge!
In addition to aiming for a production that is as sustainable as possible, every day we are faced with another challenge: how do we deliver our equipment and products to their destination in an optimally future-proof manner?
For that challenge we very much value our good contacts with Future Fuels from Oudehaske (near Heerenveen), with whom we have enjoyed working for many years. They specialise in sustainable liquid fuels. With their Blauwe Diesel and Neste MY Renewable Diesel (HVO100), they ensure that businesses such as the IJB Group can carry out their work in a way that is increasingly less polluting.
By stimulating the use of sustainable fuels and replacing fossil fuels, Future Fuels contributes to a more sustainable living environment.
The fuel products of Future Fuels not only reduce CO2. The emissions of soot and particular matter, nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide and sulphur dioxide are considerably less than those from fossil diesel.
By purchasing the fuel products from Future Fuels, the IJB Group commits itself to this company’s sustainability efforts. The fact that this has already helped to considerably reduce the emissions of CO2 can be seen from the annual CO2 certificates for 2022, which you can view via this link.
