Since the start of 2023, the IJB Group has been sponsoring one of the competition teams of LVC, the Lemster Volleyball Club. We also sponsored the one-off purchase of ten new competition bags for this team. The bags have recently been delivered, and the LVC players are very happy with them. On 9 May, they visited us to show the bags to IJB staff members Marijke Bergstra-Beljon and Heleen Coremans, who helped to arrange the IJB Group’s sponsoring.

This was a perfect opportunity to take a group photo of the team with their new bags, together with Marijke and Heleen (standing left and right, respectively, next to the IJB banner).

For the IJB Group, this is a valuable sponsorship project as part of its Mission and Vision, based on the theme of “Sustainable Capacity”. What’s more, contributing to an increasingly more sustainable society is central to our daily business operations, with a focus on people, the environment and the local area.

In this context, the IJB Group commits itself to, for example, the sustainable deployment of its employees. We also want to project this approach to the local area in, for example, Lemmer by sponsoring local sports clubs in their activities. After all, the sustainable deployment of people can be effectively stimulated through sports.

We are therefore very delighted to sponsor LVC through an annual donation and the recently purchased sports bags for one of their teams.
